This position is responsible for fully developing and managing the branch, creating a motivating environment, and providing top notch customer service.
Manages the day to day operation of the insurance branch to ensure the delivery of quality insurance services to customers. Leads a team of licensed insurance representatives to ensure the effective utilization of human resources and to promote motivation and professionalism within the team. Capitalizes on opportunities to increase market penetration and contributes to the company’s overall marketing goals. Provides the full range of motor vehicle, travel, medical and personal lines insurance products and services to customers by performing all duties of the Personal Lines Broker. Supports commercial insurance sales activities through active referral to Commercial Services Managers. Participates as an active member of the Branch Insurance Management Team.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
- CIP or CAIB designation
- A minimum of 10 years insurance experience
- Working knowledge of Agency Manager, Applied Rating Services, ICBC systems, Word, Excel and Outlook
- Candidates must demonstrate proficiency in:
- Ability to communicate positively in a sales and service environment, both verbally and in writing
- Proven leadership skills, and the ability to motivate a team of sales professionals in achieving sales excellence
- Ability to provide service-oriented solutions to customers and staff
- Ability to organize work to meet deadlines within an environment of constantly changing priorities
