Insurance Services Rep VII
- Part-Time (17.5 Hours a week)
- Shifts: Monday, Saturday and (various peak periods in work week)
- 1325 Pemberton Ave, Squamish BC

You will have at least 1 year of recent experience in customer service or sales. Ideal candidate has worked in an insurance office or motor vehicle branch. Insurance Broker level 1 license or working towards it would be beneficial. If you dont have your Level 1 General Insurance License (Fundamentals of Insurance), let us help you get there. The Insurance Services Rep VII reports directly into the Manager Squamish Insurance.
Key areas of accountability for this role are:
- Prepare quotes, provide advice, and offer personal lines, AutoPlan insurance products and services and, where applicable, motor vehicle to both new and existing clients.
- Provide referrals through the OnSell system for additional products and services offered by Squamish Savings.
- Build the business by cross-selling on additional insurance products and services within the agency.
- Perform routine administrative elements of the work (e.g. order and organize the ICBC supplies and office supplies, ICBC deposits and mail distribution, and, where applicable, motor vehicle registration services) consistent with agreed upon timelines, regulatory requirements and established standards.

Competencies:
- Solid – Communication and interpersonal skills to serve the members (e.g. respond to inquiries, interpret policies and procedures).
- Basic – Knowledge of the concepts, practices and techniques of the related field.
- Solid – Knowledge of the relevant Vancity policies, procedures, products and services.
- Basic – Knowledge of Vancity products and services offered by the specialist roles.
- Basic – Knowledge of the relevant Vancity policies, procedures, systems and software.
- Basic – Knowledge of insurance underwriting processes.
Education:
- Completion of Grade 12
- Insurance Level 1 license
- Autoplan Essentials Course
